DivorceCare for Kids includes materials to help you present a biblically based, Christ-centered ministry program designed to bring healing to children in divorce situations. It points children to God and introduces them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Help children learn that God’s love strengthens them and helps them turn their sadness to hope and their anger to joy
- Help children understand they are not alone and there are people who will walk through this difficult time with them
- Are set up to complement the adult DivorceCare weekly sessions
- Create an opportunity for the parent and child to have meaningful conversations about the issues they face

Each session is filled with motivating and exciting activities. Games, crafts, role playing, discussion times, devotions, journaling and workbooks help children process the divorce and move forward in their lives. The music CDs, snacks, read aloud stories, exercises and Bible verses teach children to relax and rest secure in God’s love. Several visual aids have been developed to help your leaders facilitate the group.
The Kids Like Me and Stories from the Bible video dramas present stories of children who are experiencing divorce-related problems and have found help and encouragement.
